Alex Krijger has more than 20 years international experience in managing complex business related international government affairs issues and geopolitical security risks with high business/financial value at stake. He has extensive experience in various senior governmental affairs roles in both business (Royal Dutch Shell) as well as politics.
He studied at the University Leiden and the IMD Business School in Lausanne. He has actively worked on complicated issues and projects in Europe, North America, MENA, Russia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. He published four books and various articles on political and historical subjects. Alex’s latest book ‘JFK: Idealist zonder illusies’ was published in October 2017. He is also the Vice-chair of the Atlantic Commission in The Netherlands. Alex is Associate Partner at Signpost Six (Psychology for intelligence and security).
